New Delhi, MTT News Desk: A three-member delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference comprising Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Nayeem Ahmed Khan attended a lunche on meeting hosted by Pakistani High Commissioner, Shahid Malik, in New Delhi.
The APHC leaders discussed various aspects of the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir with the Pakistani dignitaries.
The leaders told them that Pakistan’s decision of granting the
status of Most Favoured Nation (MFN) to India should not lead to the sidelining of the Kashmir dispute.
Pakistani dignitaries assured the Hurriyat leaders that MFN status to India would not have any impact on country’s Kashmir policy and Pakistan would continue its moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiris.
They told the leaders that Pakistan wanted to see the APHC as a strong and vibrant political force to project the Kashmir cause in the right direction.
On the other hand, the APHC-M Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has returned to Srinagar after a weeklong diplomatic tour to New Delhi.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that during his stay in the Indian capital, the Mirwaiz met envoys of several western and Muslim countries, apprising them about the situation in the occupied territory.
“Mirwaiz will leave for Delhi next week to resume his diplomatic mission,” the statement added.
