Srinagar, MTT News Desk: The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and the President of Jammu & Kashmir Tahreek e Hurriyat (TeH) Syed Ali Shah Geelani has said that India has no right to celebrate the Republic Day in Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK) until it gives right of self-determination to people of OSJK.
Geelani, while talking to Dr R K Jain Director of Jain TV Channel in New Delhi, stated that he was not against the Republic Day celebrations and people of India but wanted right to
self-determination.
“We are not against dialogue but India has never been serious in its efforts,” he added.
He made it clear that the Indian government must show flexibility and avoid confrontation.
Geelani said that spending most of the budget on defence was only because of Kashmir dispute and the issue can’t be buried under the carpet.
Indian armed forces, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred a youth in Jammu district, today.

The Indian armed forces personnel shot dead the youth near Mala Bala in Akhnoor area of the district without any provocation.
More than 6,00,000 Kashmiris has been killed so far by Indian armed forces in Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK) since 1947, when India occupied the territory through its military force.
Kashmiris never wanted to join India, but so called democratic India is not ready to give the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir, despite the fact that all Indian founding rulers promised this right with Kashmiris in various forums including their own parliament.
