“They are trying to change our culture, tradition and beliefs by
employing different tactics.”
Syed Ali Shah Geelani is also the President of Jammu & Kashmir Tahreek e Hurriyat (TeH) and is spearheading the ongoing Quite Kashmir Movement against Indian occupation of OSJK.
Expressing concerns over spurt in unethical and wayward acts, the APHC Chairman Syed Ali shah Geelani said that India is promoting the spread of social evils in the Valley.
“This is a part of a planned conspiracy to mutilate the Muslim identity of Kashmir. And waywardness is being promoted in our colleges and universities in the name of cultural programs,” he said.
Geelani added that religious leaders and media should come forward to counter this cultural aggression.

In the meanwhile, the Chairman of Kashmir Centre Brussels, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo while welcoming the growing Pak-India diplomatic relations expressed hope that the two countries would make sincere efforts to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
In a statement issued in Brussels, Tramboo said that the focus on merely boosting trade relations between Pakistan and India while sidelining the Kashmir dispute would have disastrous repercussions.
He said that the solution of the Kashmir dispute would pave way for spontaneous solution of all other issues.
Barrister Tramboo said that dream for durable peace in South Asia would remain elusive without resolving the longstanding issue of Kashmir.
