Srinagar, MTT News Desk: In Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), the Jamiat Ahle Hadith has said that the Indian authorities are hurting the sentiment of Kashmiri people by creating hurdles in establishment of Trans World Muslim University (TMU).
The President of Jamiat Ahle Hadith, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Malik addressing party activists in Srinagar, today, said that delaying tactics were being made regarding permission for the establishment of the university. On the contrary, he said that Vaishno Devi University had been established in the territory and
recently the Indian President, Pratibha Singh Patil had also participated in its convocation.
The meeting also expressed serious concern over the dubious activities of Christians’ missionaries.
The Jamiat Ahle Hadith Nazim-e-Aala, Abdur Rehman Butt, Mufti Yaqoob Baba Al-Madni, Dr Lateef Al-Kandi and Maulana Mubaraki besides others participated in the meeting.
In the meanwhile, the chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed concern over unfair treatment being meted out to the illegally detained Kashmiris in Indian and Kashmiri jails.

Syed Ali Shah Geelalni said that the Hurriyat leader Merajuddin Kalwal was being mentally tortured and was not being provided proper food at Kotbalwal jail in Jammu.
Raja Merajuddin has been hospitalised after falling seriously ill.
