A little introduction of the forum

Salam everybody.

I, once again, welcome all of you to the forum.

Here I shall give you a little know how on how to use the forum. Once you go through this, you would love to read and write in this forum.

Its not just a discussion forum, but will provide you a lot of information and, at the same time, we shall also look for suggestions from your side.

OK. So let's start with the BBCode. BBCode are small codes which produce rich contents within your posts. Did you noticed that the word "BBCodes" is bold? Yes, I done with the B Button available just at the top of the text area. You can use the following code to make your sayings BOLD.

[ b ]Your Text Will Go Here[ /b ] - (Remove space) This will look like this:

Your Text Will Go Here.

See? How easy it is.

I shall introduce you all BBCodes in saperate posts. So the next is IFRAME.

Another important BBCode is IFRAME. How to use it? Let me tell you straight away. If you want to discuss an article or any other material with your friends, you do not have to copy and paste that into your answers and then start hactic job of formatting. Just add IFRAME BBCode and give the URL of the page, where the article is placed and thats it. Rest of the job will be done by US, on your behalf. Promise, Paka Promise.

Here is an example.

Let's see which one is the latest article published on our very own Blog, PakistanFront. To do this all we need is to add a BBCode for IFRAME and write the URL of the Blog, PakistanFront, into it. The URL of the Blog, PakistanFront, is "http://www.PakistanFront.WordPress.Com" and the BBCode of IFRAME is:

[ iframe](Write the URL here)[/iframe] (Remove spaces)

So it will become this:

[ iframe]http://www.PakistanFront.BlogSpot.Com[/iframe] (Remove the spaces).

It will look like the following:

YES. I done it using the ALIGN BBCode. Here is the example.

[ align=justify ]Your Text will go here. In order to make this example ocopying couple of lines, I am going to write here little more than usual. So that, it could be demonstrated to you nicely and efficiently. By the way, if you fail to effectively use the BBCode. Don't worry. Just send an email via board to me and let me know which BBCode is not working in which of your posts and I shall make it working. Yea? Good.[ /align ] (Remove Sapces from within [])

It will look like this.

Yea, yea. I can feel, how much happy you are with such a brilliant functionalities and already planning to do a lot of things. But before you start writing with your new techniques. Let me introduce you another important BBCode, YouTube. But before I tell you that how YouTube BBCode works. Why not you watch and listen one of the most beautiful and patriotic song, "Ae Watan Payare Watan" By Amanat Ali Khan. Here you go:

OK. Now, let me tell you that how I added this YouTube Song in the post.

Here is the BBCode of the YouTube:

[ YouTube][/YouTube] (Remove the Space)

Now, just browse YouTube. Select the movie, you wish to show your friends within the forum and then notice the EMBED INFORMATION.

You need to copy this info somewhere, maybe on your notepad.

This will look like the following.

Or if you had tried to customize the EMBED INFO. Then it may look something like this:

In both cases, you need to copy the BOLD text within the YouTube BBCode. Simple as that.

Hmmm,

Looks to me like you are feeling difficulties in understanding the BBCodes. OK, let me introduce you a little simple stuff, WORD REPLACEMENT.

Word Replacement is the functionality availble to the moderators. Which used to replace objectionalbe words withing your posts. However, I had found one good use of it. Now, instead of writing long names of entities such as Islamic Republic of Pakistan again and again. You can use a small CODE to do this job, pk.a.

Such kind of functionality, sometimes needed during writing long replies, where the name of the entity repeated again and again and you feel wastage of time during writing it again and again. So, now you can use short codes to be replaced with the compelete name. Here is the lists of codes, so far made available to you and their replacements.

.s = Asalam Alaikum
.sa = Asalam Alaikum Warahmatullaha Wabarakatohu

.a = Allah Ta'ala
.m = Hazrat Mohammad SAWW
i.a = InshAllah
s.a = Subhan Allah
j.a = Jazak Allah
m.a = Masha'Allah

pk.a = Islamic Republic of Pakistan
cn.a = People's Republic of China
ks.a = Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
us.a = United States of America

Visit the link below, select the avator and then, browse your User Control Panel --> Profile --> Avatar and then paste the url of the avator in the text box.

There is no need to give dimensions, as the image dimensions are already optimised.
