From last sixth decades, the people of Kashmir are divided and half of them are living a miserable life under Indian occupation. Murder, death and kill is a daily routine and a most popular sports amongst Indian forces in Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK). Rape and abduction are daily routine. The most, Kashmiris heard so far in OSJK are the gunshots, followed by the cries of their loved ones.

The paradise turned into slaughterhouse. The only difference is that in this slaughterhouse, these are human beings and not animals. Kashmir is burning. And the Kashmiris are vanishing due to ongoing genocide of Kashmiris by Indian Army.

The issue of Kashmir is a moral, legal and religious responsibility of all of us, which needs to be discharged, as soon as possible. The Kashmiris look towards us, when they find themselves helpless against Indian aggressions, when their sons are killed and when their daughters are …(mishandled) by the Indian Army.

For this purpose, MTT had decided to form a committee to act as a think tank on Kashmir issue. There will be no other business of this committee. MTT will organise meetings of the committee. The proceedings of the meeting will also be made available to the general public in various forms. The committee will organise visits of committee members to different government offices and to the offices of various political parties. The committee will organise seminars, Kashmiri exhibitions, peaceful rallies and demonstrations, throughout Pakistan to create more public awareness on Kashmir issue. The committee will conduct research in order to explore more ways to sort out Kashmir issue and will remain in touch with related government offices.

MTT-KAC will be headed by Editor of MTT, initially. The committee will consist of number of personalities from various walks of life. The retired military officers, renowned lawyers, the politicians, media personalities, activists from NGOs, columnists, the educationists and many others will be made part of the committee.

The Google based discussion group is mainly created to facilitate the committee members to comfortably communicate with each other. However, Non-Committee members can also join the group and could have observer status. The Non-Committee members of the group can only view contents and learn about the ongoing activities of the MTT-KAC.
